| Any chance we will see the HM Spitfire MKXIV in 1:72? Is it the HM policy that no cross overs (1:72 to 1:48 & Vice Versa) will occur? I would love to see a MKXIV is 1:72. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Spitfire MKXIV You and me both Airblake, one thing's for sure - whoever makes these in 1/72 & does them well will make a killing! HM's versions (i'm getting all of them) are well done, well priced & have broken the drought.. these Griffon powered beasts deserved to be done years back & for the life of me I cannot understand why Corgi did not get off their ass & make one | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Spitfire MKXIV While I would welcome a Mk. XIV; for a Griffon Spitfire, I would prefer a 1/72 Mk. 22/24 Spitfire. This was the last of the Spitfires and a great looking airplane besides-- also some good looking schemes. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Spitfire MKXIV
Here is a picture of a Mk. 22/24 from the boxart of an Eduard kit. Also, the link will take you to some previously posted plans which will give some idea of the difference between a Mk. XIV and a Mk. 22/24. Click on the thumbnails on the second page of the thread. How about a 1/72 Spitfire Mk.22/24? | |||||||||||||||
