Ok guys let me add my 2 cents worth. The idea behind communicating directly with Hobby Master is a great opportunity that we should take advantage of but not to the point of over kill. Mr Liu is a great guy to deal with and very reasonable. If you have legitimate questions about a model or you have reasonable suggestions for improvements then by all means send them an email, I'm sure HM will be glad to receive it. The purpose of this entire process is they want to eliminate the middle man, me and this is great by me. It frees me up to do a lot of things I didn't have time for. Please work with Mr Liu to help him to continue to make great models. We don't want to overload him with wish lists, he is watching the forums and sees this kind of stuff. Do like David Hingten does, he knows certain planes inside out and is a great asset to the hobby with his keen eye. There are so many great guys on here that have so much to offer but please don't take it to the point where we drive HM away. If you just want to vent about something thing then maybe just do it here but if you have constructive suggestions then email him. Treat it like you did with me, if there is something that you think definitely has to be seen by Hobby Master then email them otherwise post it on the forum and they probably will see it and read it.

Thank you for the inputs. Dave has worked extremely hard and HM wish him will continue his great work for Hobby Master.

The reason that I join the forum is for convenience puropose. For important issues we will try to provide answers directly here but this will be on a selective basis.

Hence, in the future, lets meet in this platform. If there is anything that you consider to be so important that I must know (like complaints), please send your e-mail to me or info@hobbymaster.com.hk. I will be checking the info e-mail everyday (sorry, except Sundays maybe).

The opportunity that we have as collectors to "feed" input directly to the manufacturer is truly unique. I also agree that this relationship could be strained if we inudate HM with e-mails. I do not if it has been suggested, but we really should somehow consolidate our comments into one e-mail that we all can agree on. The e-mail could be counter-signed by all involved so HM understands that the e-mail is not the product of singular mind. Unless, of course, changes will not be affected unless we bombard HM with requests.

Mr Liu and I have discussed this set up and here is the way it should work. I will continue to monitor the forums and look for input, questions, suggestions and what ever else. I will try to filter out the venting and gather all the other factors and I will send them to Hong Kong. They will provide me with answers which I will post as well William will continue to monitor threads and if he feels there is anything that should have a more in depth answer he will post it himself. This new way of doing things should work our better than it had. I will search the forums and do what I was doing and you still will have direct input from Hobby Master. Basically it is back to the way it was.
So like I asked before, I will try my best to read all the threads pertinent to HM but in case I should miss something that you feel really needs to be addressed please email me and I will get you an answer and/or make Hobby Master aware of your concerns. Mr Liu is quite often travelling for a week at a time so there could be periods where he couldn't answer your emails and they don't want to keep you waiting for a reply. Hobby Master does a great job of keeping me informed about what is coming out and other information so hopefully I will be able to provide what you need and if not they will. So here is my email address for anyone that doesn't already know it. hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca I'm sorry for any confusion this has caused, there was a little misunderstanding on my part and now that it has been cleared up I hope we can get back to enjoying our hobby. Hobby Master wants you to know that they are aware that the names on the pre-pro version of HA1902 Cunningham F-4 canopy are incorrect. They are only like this on the pre-production model, the retail version will have Eggert and Fearless.

Yes JP they are fixing these things because you guys are pointing them out and Hobby Master in Hong Kong is now scanning the forums as well as myself. They are checking for comments, suggestions and any input from the collectors. Still if there are any major problems or comments please send me hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca or HM info@hobbymaster.com.hk an email to make sure it gets seen. If you email HM directly the email will be read but with the volume of emails they receive there is no guarantee you will receive a reply. They really do appreciate all the help the members are providing so they can give us good models.
