Re: F4 Phantom Showtime Pics

UPDATE on the HM F-4 Phantom issues--
As Hawkonevoodoo suggested, I emailed my concerns about the pre-production pictures of "Showtme 100" to William Liu of Hobby Master, namely the lack of the side windows and the incorrect single lug on the rear canopy. He responded to me saying that those were pictures of an early test shot of the model and were not meant to be released. He says those issues have already been corrected.

It looks like HM was aware of those issues and has taken steps to fix them. It also looks like HM appreciates the feedback and wants to make an accurate and correct product. Thus, if you have noticed other things like the missile markings, and have suggestions on how to make it right, I would recommend emailing them with this information.

Great news!! I am seriously looking forward to Showtime when it arrives...

Re: F4 Phantom Showtime Pics

If they fix these issues then i'll get both for sure - attention to detail is important to me and the canopy issues were troubling me somewhat. What is equally important is a manufacturer that has an email address and replies to their customers...thats the way to do business! CORGI - TAKE NOTE

Re: F4 Phantom Showtime Pics

I guess that's the problem when pre-pro pictures get released before the article is properly finished!

Re: F4 Phantom Showtime Pics

Hi Guys,

The photos you saw are "test" color sample pictures intending to assist distributors to collect orders.

Hence, they are by no means final or ready for production. For instance, you will also see silver landing gears while it should be white and he aerial at the back of the fuselage will be shortened.

Please treat these photos as previewed only.

Personally guys I disagree.

William is an extremely very busy person at HM and a bombardment of e-mails would merely swamp him.

As suggested before I would send your observations and suggestions/corrections to Hwak1 who I know (along with myself in the UK/and the importer) also for the UK forum or it will simply have the adverse effect.

I am not wishing to upset any applecart here and don;t normally post (only look in form time to time), but feel strongly about swamping HM with requests and suggestions. If you guys knew how hard it was even to get to pre-pro stage and then afterwards you would understand which I think a few of you do already.

I am sure Hawk1 will suggest the same.

Thanks

CFBC

Please read Hawksonevoodoos reply. it is the 10th one on this thread. I do agree that we shouldn't bombard William. Nice to know thats he's willing to listen to us But lets not over do it and overwhelm him. LM
