Re: F100d

Thanks Bill for the early pics of the pre-pro. I am sure you guys will get the kinks worked out. I am stunned every time I turn on my computer and get news and see pics of models your company is producing. I am resolved to buy at least 2 or 3 models of each mold you are making of the F-100, F3F,Kate,SB2C and F-4. I am hoping the F-105 will be announced by years end although I am sure that is being ambitious. A couple of years back I had asked in an e-mail for the F-5 (T-38) Am I mistaken or has this model been planned in the future?

Again, thanks Bill Thanks for giving us so much to plan and save for. To date there is no other model maker that is as communicative as you. Good for you, good for us.

This is the first test shot sample I received today. There are quite some changes needed (like the framed canpopy) and we need a new weapon system for this.

For future plan, the F-5 and F-100 are among our considerations. There are still so many good subejcts are yet to be made but I am sure the subjects will come not very far away.

Re: F100d

I'm really happy to see some more Vietnam Era fast movers other than the F-4. I'm a Vietnam re-enactor and buff so I'm happy to see any Vietnam stuff but a good model for close air support. Any chance of napalm canisters on it? I'll pick up the F-105 and F-5 if you end up making it. Good on you doing a less common plane and adding one more to our checklist

Re: F100d

I like the looks of that pre pro nice and silver (I also thought when i saw the canopy it was going to be a two seater).....Can't wait to see the camo one next..
Keep up the good work.
You guys at Hobby Master are #1 in my book.

I can't wait to see the weapons on this baby...Armament 4× 20 mm , M39 cannon Missiles and a number of nuclear bombs Mk. 7 , Mk. 28 , Mk. 38 , Mk. 43 , Mk. 57 , Mk. 61. In later versions, four AIM-9B/E/J Sidewinder air-to-air infrared homing missiles could be carried.
This baby packs a punch.

P.S. A two seater has a canopy like that.

Re: F100d

Attached is the first "test-shot sample" HM is working on.

The engine burning marks is too "solid" I think and we will try more test on this.

A lot of adjustments needed like the color of the head-rest, missing marking of the fuel tank ...

Great work on the pre pro thus far.
You guys are killing by doing all these cold war jets, thats my favorite subject,

Re: F100d

There will be some delay of the F-100 since we are adding extra armaments to the product.

Depends on the version, it will include :Mk82, Mk117, 335 gallon fuel tank, BLU-27 napalm bombs, AIM 9E sidewinders and the baggage pod.

Re: F100d

Thank goodness, you are still considering the F-5.

As for armament, can you consider a bomb / missil / pod set for the F- 4,5,100,etc. Like the one Dragon made at one time.

Re: F100d

William,
I have to thank you first, for apparently being the only manufacturer who listens to their customers. Hobby Master, in its short life has done a lot to breathe new interest in a hobby which was rapidly declining. As a Canadian, I look forward to receiving the CF104 you have recently announced, it will join the Tiger Meet in the hangar. I am also looking forward to the F100 in Vietnam markings but I think, unless I'm mistaken, a Super Saber done in the markings of the USAF Thunderbirds would also be a hit. A lot of us, as kids saw them at air shows across North America before the Thunderbirds went on to the T38/F5.
