Would love to see the Voodoo, was the first model I did as a kid.

Good to see another Voodoo fan! I remember seeing a couple of them flying off the coast at Myrtle beach when I was a kid (Long time ago).

I love the 'Thud', but I ONLY voted for the Voodoo.

Most amazing sighting was whilst playing football at the edge of Bentwaters/Woodbridge in Suffolk, on August Bank-Holiday '78.........

& unexpectedly seeing an (all too rare) single seat F.101 in natural metal finish; lifting out of the trees at the end of the runway.....deafening EVERYONE playing football & stopping the entire game, as everyone (Girls included) stopped & stared in awe........!!!!!!!!
(well, it sure made our chest-cavities shake !!!!!!!!!)

Saw another (Canadian) flying over Hendon in 1981. (luckily, before they were retired in 1984).

Never saw one on the ground AT ALL, until visited the Midland Air Museum in Coventry, in 1990.

Left a VERY deep impression on me.

Such an amazing design for a Late-'50's Jet, despite any shortcomings.

Here's a B&W pic' in my collection - one of the actual Bentwaters (Suffolk) based 'birds', before they were replaced by F.4 C/D's

Re: Which Century fighter next ?

Btw, just for 'sh__ and grins', the F-111 was NEVER part of the Century Series fighter designs of the 50's.

Re: Which Century fighter next ?

I was going to make a similar comment---I voted for the Aardvark, but it's not a Century plane.

That is a slick picture!

The F-107 on the top left picture - I built a resin kit of it once upon a time, and it was my favorite one of the CSF.

I like making resin kits! Some of the newer ones are really nice quality, and cover aircraft that would normally get passed on.

I voted for the F-101 VooDoo as I would like to see a Canadian CF-101!

Re: Which Century fighter next ?

Man the 101 looks like someone took a commercial jet and tried to make a fighter out of it. I just can't get into its lines.
