| Good to see this one get done! Hi Hawkonevoodoo! I know you get so many suggestions and these can't be guaranteed to be done, but it would be good to compliment the great Mirage 2000's that have been done with the additional moulds of the earlier Mirage fighters. That being the Mirage III and Mirage F1.These aircraft have so much history behind them too! Let this be the year of the Mirage!! | |||||||||||||

| Re: Good to see this one get done! Look...if you're going to do older Mirages you've gotta do a Kfir (Sidewinders on the outer pylons and either rockets or dumb bombs in the inner w/ a centerline drop tank...and maybe extra Sidewinders to boot) and a Mirage F1. | |||||||||||||

| I'd love to see some of the older Mirages, in particular the III. There are plenty of great schemes including RAAF & Argentine Air Force that i'd buy Here's to the year of the Mirage!! ![]() | |||||||||||||

| The Mirage III/5 family would be a guaranted hit, so successful has the real thing been both operationally and commercially the world over ! On the other hand, the F1 would certainly proove as popular as the 2000, so why not ? Whichever is next, I'd buy PLENTY anyway ! ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: Good to see this one get done! Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Lybian Mirages, which saw action during Yom Kippur war (loaned to Egyptians) AND during brief Lybian-Egyptian war of 1981(?). Lybian Mirage will compliment Egyptian MiG-21 from the same conflict. Regards, Sergey | |||||||||||||

| Re: Good to see this one get done! As an advocate for more Mirage variants, I would hope HM have this one on their plate for consideration. It would be highly complimentary to their IAF Skyhawk as well! ![]() IAF Nesher (Eagle) History To avoid any vital interruption of warplane deliveries as a result of shifting international sympathies, Israel decided in the mid-1960's to produce an indigenous multi-role fighter derived from the Dassault Mirage III but powered by the GE J79 turbojet. As an interim step, Israel produced the Nesher (Eagle) as an unlicensed copy of the Mirage IIICJ using stocks of the Atar 9 turbojet already in Israel. The Nesher is similar to the Mirage IIIC in all respects but its use of the Shafrir short-range AAMs in place of the French type's Magic AAMs, and first flew in 1971. Some 40 Neshers had entered service by the time of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, and achieved a 50% combat success rate with the Shafrir. With the arrival of the Kfir, Nesher production was halted after about 60 aircraft, and 26 surplus aircraft were sold to Argentina in 1978 with the designation Dagger. These performed indifferently in the 1982 Falklands War, and was mainly used as top cover for the dedicated attack aircraft such as the A-4 Skyhawk. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Good to see this one get done! If we're going to talk Mirage IIIs, especially ones used in combat, how about a Pakistan Air Force one? I'll work on getting some pics scanned in for these. Not having too much luck so far. | |||||||||||||
