Re: Good to see this one get done!

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Lybian Mirages, which saw action during Yom Kippur war (loaned to Egyptians) AND during brief Lybian-Egyptian war of 1981(?). Lybian Mirage will compliment Egyptian MiG-21 from the same conflict.

Regards,

Sergey

Also, Egyptian Mirage 5's flew combat missions against Iran during the Iran-Iraq war.

Re: Good to see this one get done!

If we're going to talk Mirage IIIs, especially ones used in combat, how about a Pakistan Air Force one?

I'll work on getting some pics scanned in for these. Not having too much luck so far.

Re: Good to see this one get done!

SAAF Mirages IIICZ/EZ/RZ/R2Z and F1CZ/AZ saw regular action in the "Bush war". They punctually even shot down Angolan Migs...

A definite YES!!! I saw a few excellent displays at the SA airshows involving both the III and the F1 too!! This was back in the day before all the restrictions were in place!! Some excellent flying!

Re: Good to see this one get done!

Hi Hawkonevoodoo!

I know you get so many suggestions and these can't be guaranteed to be done, but it would be good to compliment the great Mirage 2000's that have been done with the additional moulds of the earlier Mirage fighters. That being the Mirage III and Mirage F1.These aircraft have so much history behind them too! Let this be the year of the Mirage!!

Great suggestions but please send all your questions and suggestions directly to Hobby Master williamliu@hobbymaster.com.hk Doing this will make sure they receive it and then they will know for sure what collectors want as far as future paint schemes and you can get your questions answered directly from Hong kong.
