Re: Hobbymaster F100D

No doubt...that was standard 'Nam...should be interesting...BUT I ONLY BUY WWII TYPES AND HERE I AM BUYING ALL THESE HOBBY MASTER JETS!! (HM MiG-15 anyone?)

I stick to WWII types also, but if they put out camouflaged one,,, might be pretty tempting. Have a South Vietnamese Aircraft Recognition guide and F 100 in photo is either a two or three tone camouflage pattern.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Hobbymaster F100D

Sweet! I'm partial to the 353rd TFS/354th TFW colors since a family friend flew F-100s assigned to that squadron during Vietnam. This would be a "no-brainer" squadron for HM since they've already made an A-10 from this unit. Plus, Gabreski commanded this wing.

It would be nice if they could do a Gabby F100. It would go great with the Spitfire, 2 x P-47s and F-86 I have of his.

CC, I highly recommend you read this book! It's the most entertaining book about an F-100 flying unit in Nam!
