HA1901 F-4D Phantom II, Steve Ritchie

Don't know if this has previously been mentioned, but Hobby Master's site now has a picture posted of the Ritchie F-4:

HOBBY MASTER

Of course it is a small pictures, so kind of hard to judge by it. I just checked Hawk's site, still no pictures posted.

I saw that today too.....Hard to tell from that picture...does the canopies open on it or
will it come with two sets of canopies like corgi did?

It's really difficult to tell from a single photo. I think it's best if we let Hawkonevoodoo chime in on this one, soon.......

Don't know and hard to tell by that small piccie. The all important question for me is (DRUMROLL PLEASE): will it have turbines in 'dem intakes??

(I'm betting it won't... that way I won't be too disappointed).

If the A-4 Israeli Skyhawk is an indication of no turbine blades present on that one, then.....

I think I may have just burst your bubble, Elmer....

Yeah, I know. I am not expecting turbines in the intake... just seems to be the HM way of doing things, you know, less detail than... say a CW. But I want more detail. So... I will keep my fingers crossed that CW will do an F-4.

Now, having written that, I do not understand the logic behind modeling turbines in one jet (A-10) and not another. Yes, I know, the turbines in the A-10 are fairly prominent features, but hey! the F-4 has engines too!

Re: HA1901 F-4D Phantom II, Steve Ritchie

Looks good, really good. I only have one concern so HobbyMaster if you're listening....
Please do light very light panel lines on your Phantoms. Phantoms have always had a beautiful smooth look to them. Please just lighten the wash just a tad as I fear from the pics the Showtime 100(being a lighter color) might look like a jig-saw puzzle with all the panel lines if the wash is too heavy. Thanks and great pics I am so looking forward to all 20 Phantoms coming out.

WOW! Thanks for the link, johnnyboy.

I know it's a hell of alot better than the Corgi "Annette" Spook but I'm defiinitely will display Ritchie's next to her for sure.
