Photos Atlantic scheme SBD

The Atlantic scheme SBD. Should be land based but it is a Dauntless so I stuck it on the carrier deck. I didn't realize this was an open dive brake model. No big deal but was a surprise when I opened the box.

Re: Photos Atlantic scheme SBD

UPS says mine is waiting on me at home. I can't wait to open the box, but I do wish the flaps were closed. Nice pics!

Pretty bird you've got there, 1250ships. It looks interesting with the dive brakes deployed.

Thanks for posting the great pictures.

Re: Photos Atlantic scheme SBD

I got this one in the mail a couple of days ago. It really is great looking and I love the open dive brakes. I also received the HobbyMaster Italian Stuka and their M25 Pershing - both also really good looking models.

Re: Photos Atlantic scheme SBD

I have this on pre-order and will be picking it up next week. I also didn't know that was a open-dive brake version, when I am not fond off at all. Oh well.

Nice pix. Saw this one tonight and was tempted, but I picked up the RAF Air Cobra instead.

Re: Photos Atlantic scheme SBD

Yes its here !!! This look is great on the SBD !!! After seeing it in the flesh, we had better get the Avenger in this scheme !!! I'm gonna get the MRC Wildcat now just to round out the hopeful threesome. I only wish it had crew and a stand that makes it look like she was diving, but flaps open its still a keeper.
