F-100 Super Sabre (I know it's not in the poll)..at least we won't have to worry about folding wings.(otherwise I would have picked the FJ-4)

Yes, that would be a cool plane in that scale!

Re: Poll : Next 1/48 jet

At the risk of being repetitive...the Century Series jets need to be addressed. Super Sabre - Voodoo - Thud. Furthermore, I can do without the moving parts, just give me a well-fitting model.

Re: Poll : Next 1/48 jet

There are several planes from the Korean War that get overlooked too often. Certainly, the F-84 is one, however I doubt that it would sell well. Same applies for the F-80.

On the other hand, there are a number of planes---perhaps not in the same precise era, that would be more appealing and would probably sell quite well. Included on this list would be the F-100, F-105., F-106, and the F5E, plus a Mig-15 and/or Mig-17. Also worth considering would be an F-111, providing they don't screw up the various wing poistioning options too badly.

Thumbs up Re: Poll : Next 1/48 jet

I'll definitely like to see this one if HM will do the F-86.

Re: Poll : Next 1/48 jet

I voted for the F-84E/G Thunderjet but I think the F-80 Shooting Star should have been a contender too.

Since I am the only one to understand the poll, I voted for the Banshee.

What do you mean...that the Banshee accompanied the Panther on carrier decks and that is why it should be next?
