HM IAF Skyhawk

Just had this one touch down and gave it a quick look during lunch....

The paint job is stellar, and the wash is much more lightly done than say on the Italian 104 -- looks suitably "dirty", so I like the wash with this model.

The missiles and rockets you can put on the outboard pylons are still a bit crude and just painted white from nose to tail, and the gear is tough to install in the lowered position, mine required glue -- which is setting now. I'll snap a few very quick and dirty pics in a bit. And still no pilot...

That said, this is the Skyhawk to have so far in my opinion, though -- can't wait to see a matching Phantom and Mirage (please).

Re: HM IAF Skyhawk

Here are some "quick and dirties" -- sorry, won't get to the real pics for a bit as I try to deal with the packing and shipping biz that has overtaken my photo table as I deal with the big sale..

Re: HM IAF Skyhawk

It'll look better when you put Lady Jessie's bomb load on it.

YES and why they did not place a bomb load on it just makes no sense

Because the bombs weren't produced when this model was ready for release.

Re: HM IAF Skyhawk

Very nice,... sux that it has no bombs.
Looks like we'll have to switch off with other models when bombs come out.
