Re: IAF A-4E Pics

I thought you hated anything "delta-winged" ???

I do, F102s, F106s, Mirages, that SAAB thing. But see this one has a rear horizontal wing. So its all good!

Re: IAF A-4E Pics

You've done it now, vagm! Boy, you gonna get some major grief from our buddy, Elmer, for showing those intakes without the engine fan blades details!!!

Ugh! I guess I'll have to get out my black paint and fine tipped brush again and hide this omission. It's surprising that they don't create a simple decal for this and apply it to the model. OK. So it's a nuisance and probably adds a tad to the detailing time, but the results would be a lot more realistic.

Re: HM IAF Skyhawk

I had managed to talk myself out of buying this one, a fact that I was pretty happy about. I walked into my favorite hobby shop on my lunch break today, and there it was. It is now sitting on my desk, laughing at me. I am SO weak. It is a very cool model though, I said to myself sheepishly......D'oh! I do agree about the need for a bomb load-out, perhaps HM will see fit to offer it as an stand-alone set. (hint hint HM)

Thanks for the reassurance, Pappy. I tend to be "there" on a monthly basis lately, and the timing seems to match the arrival of the new HM releases at the US distributor. Odd how that is happening.

Re: HM IAF Skyhawk

For those of you who have this model and the others with a hump- How is the fit of the humpback? Any issues with gaps or loose installation?

There is a very MINOR gap/seam at the tip of the hump above the intakes where it joins with the fuselage on mine... nothing that should be considered a deal-breaker IMHO though.

Thanks for the info. It looks good, but I think I'll wait until I see one in a shop before I make a final decision whether to pick it up...

Re: IAF A-4E Pics

Does look naked though with out a pilot figure. Just not right.

I know I have said it before but the figures are coming. I have been saving emails people are sending me asking Hobby Master to make figures for all their planes and also to sell them in a pack of 4 -6. This way you could add them to the HM models that don't have them as well as for other company planes that are pilotless.
