Thumbs up Re: Starman's 1:32 SBD **UPDATED PICTURES **

Hey, JP, is that FW-190F-8 "Red 9" you have on display the 21st Century model? I hope so, since I have one on back order. Four 21st Century issues arrived yesterday: Two Macchis; an RAF P-40B and an A6M2 Zero. However, the 190 missed the flight it seems. Great looking display case; did you build or buy?

Ah you know what its like Captain, I saw some of the pre pro pics of this plane and they looked just great.

I thought it best I didnt look again, but the spirit is weak and its just as I thought, it looks perfect.
I have 7 1/32 planes so maybe I could squeeze in another.

Deciding factor is if I can get approval for a new cabinet.

A word of caution...If that prop pin is too low to hold with pilers ...You won't be able to get a good grip on the pin..My friend got his today and he came by during my lunch to have me fix it...I couldn't do it..Pin was too low in the slot ...I had more of a gap then he did and was able to hold my pin head with a needle nose vise-grip pilers.
He will have to cut the ring around the pin head to get it now..I'm not going to do it either..hope it works out ok for him.
JP

You can see the ring i'm talking about...I have my pin head flushed in there after i fixed it..But for my friend he will have to take a xaco knife and trim the outside ring to get a good grip on the pin head....I told he he might want to send it back rather then risk it.

Yes your right it's a 21st Fw190 and the curio was bought.

Saw this in person today at my local hobby store - WOW! I may have to get this one - very impressive in real life!

Raven, who sells these in STL?

Thanks in advance.....
