Pre-Pro Pictures Of HM's Third BF-109G

Just saw these posted on the UK forum. Except for the oversized antennas, they look promising.

Re: Pre-Pro Pictures Of HM's Third BF-109G

I am glad I put a pre order on this one. Kind of wish they would loose the rockets on the night fighters, but that is for the most part minor. I noticed that the aileron balances were still backwards on the second Bf 110 and if they might be corrected on this one.

Thread title got me excited, but it did not last long. It's only the 110's.

Thumbs down Re: Pre-Pro Pictures Of HM's Third BF-109G

They ought to fix the fuG antennas - -> looks way overscaled!

I did not even catch the Bf 109 part in the title. All I must have picked up on was HM Third BF and well at that point I was pretty much just thinking Bf 110. Kind of funny, must have 110s on the brain right now.

They looked to have thinned them down a bit on the second 110, expect the same for the production model of this one too.

I have 109's on the brain since I admitted yesterday that I do not have any. Even went to local store yesterday in middle of snow storm to get one. Could not do it bought a Hellcat instead. Did look at the HM 110. It did not impress me any.

It can be a curse, you drop in for a cup of coffee and pass some time with no intention of buying, but you can't leave a hobby store without buying anything.

I sure hope so, or I'll have to resort to fashioning my own set of fuG antenna aerials....
