Re: HA1802 Bf-110G-4, G-9+WD

That does look nice, and the radar antenna do look just a bit better than the pre productions models. Camouflage looks much nicer and like the gun barrels in the nose. Not sure why they went with the rockets on the night fighter though, but thats small stuff. This one should be showing up at my doorstep sometime next week and really look forward to getting it. Thank you for posting the pictures.

I'm FULLY in agreement with your comments, Cruv'.

I know for sure, that (SOME) Night-Fighter 110's (equipped with FuG.220 "Stag-Antlers")

WERE definately in dawn/daylight combat with 8th Air Force planes (P.47's & B.17's) - but I've gotta admit; I just thought the 210-mm "Rockets" were only fitted on the Daytime "Zerstorer-Gruppen"........(from what I know ?).

Anyhow, I love the paint & correct matching RLM.76-canopy =

It's an absolute "must-have" !!!!!!!

I HONESTLY cannot see Corgi doing a better one that this beauty.....

Re: HA1802 Bf-110G-4, G-9+WD

I have yet to find a picture to back it up,but

the illustration of this aircraft in Osprey's German Night Fighter issue does not appear to have the squadron insignia either.

Just been looking at that = (Osprey); colour plate No.12 (page 36) = HM's model looks GREAT !!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to see if I can remove the 210-Rockets though, & without TOO-MUCH damage

Re: HA1802 Bf-110G-4, G-9+WD

I'm glad to see that they have modified the mottling somewhat. That's a major improvement. Too bad about the bad fit on one side of the canopy, however. I think that I may paint those oversized antennas a slightly darker gray as a way to minimize them when my model arrives. That, coupled with some weathering may improve the looks of this replica. I wonder whether we will get thinner antennas on the next BF-110G?

I agree.. The mottling does look far better than the pre-pro and more realistic, and it is a shame about the antenna, but that probably couldn't be helped much given the fragility..
I will be getting this one..

Re: HA1802 Bf-110G-4, G-9+WD

One good thing on the production model radar antenna though. The preproduction the FuG 212 Lichtenstein C-1 radar antenna did not have the smaller aerials, where the production model does. Based on the preproduction pictures I had planned on adding these, but Hobby Master did it right.
