Hello Folks,I have seen the film Pearl harbour 3 times. The Spitfire and P40 shots are great , so there!

Why would anyone watch Pearl Harbour 3 times.
Take the dogs for a walk next time the impulse hits you.

Re: Buy HM's Kate And You May Get What You Really Want.

Just out of curiosity I have asked a few people if they have heard of the Kate. (we are talking aeroplane here).

Sadly not one person knew it was a WW2 Japanese plane.
The only Japanese plane that they could name was the Zero!

We,, I,, must work harder to educate these people.

Looks like the HM Kate is sporting a updated paint scheme. Looks pretty good.

The new drawings look great. Looking forward to this model more than most. Too bad there is so little interest in the Pacific war; I think more self education in the events of that war would increase interest in the planes involved. However, people may be turned off by the fact that it was largely a naval war, in which many just aren't interested. Which leads to another thought: maybe enough interest can be found in the Far East to make this new line profitable for HM. If so, a great twin-engine aircraft, a la Bf 110, would be the beautiful Ki-46 Dinah (picture taken from Wings Pallette).

Jim, I know your views on the Bf 110 from some other discussions. As a day figther it never lived up to its expectations. As a heavy fighter is was mauled by the escorts. But it was a resounding success as a night fighter. I would recommend Schnaufer's G4 (HA 1803). It looks like it will be the best yet. The aileron balance weights have been corrected and it has the Schräge Musik armament. If you only get one 110, this is the one to get.

This is a better choice to me! I will check my sources to see if any color suggestions need to be made. Hawk needs to change the description of this livery though. It still has the old description.
