You can have mine, or the six they'll make of this plane. Only interested in it if they made it look like it was on fire and smoking in. Something like this perhaps.....

Oh come on Shawn...you need some adversaries for your American WWII fighters!

Next we may see a Val (the most destructive airplane in the Pacific War).

Gee and here I thought it was the Hellcat.

I believe he means the most effective anti-shipping air frame in the pacific war (if not the war as whole). I think I saw something on the history channel the other day that said the Val sunk the most tonnage of any divebomber in the war..?

Provided they don't have any major errors I'll probably buy them all. I'm sure if these do well there will be a Val to go along with them.

That argument could be made. However, my Grandmother's brother was badly burned during the attack on Pearl Harbor. So you'll forgive me if I don't get excited at the news of a Pearl Harbor attacker.

I guess this means IXO was selling more models than people admitted to be buying.

I'm excited to see more Japanese planes, especially from a high quality manufacturer. I know I'll be getting one.

Re: Buy HM's Kate And You May Get What You Really Want.

I say this is very good news for the collector market. Japanese WWII aircraft are very much under represented in diecast. I think the Kate will be quite popular and I think it will open the door for a Val, Oscar, and more.

As far as IXO goes I have 2 Polikarpov I-16s, 2 Blackburn Skuas, Bf 110, D 520, MS 406, Bloch MB 152, and a Mc 202. Not as many as some, but a few though. Glad to see HM putting out some Japanese aircraft and really like the Kate as a first choice. I like the fact that they went with it in the level bomber configuration instead of the normal torpedo bomber (Dont get me wrong, want to see one packing a torpedo too.). Nice to have a bit of variety.
