The Gotha is right below the yellow Texan.

Take another look. Right below the Texan, you can spot an empty plastic box cover---or something like that. Sitting on top of the plastic box cover is a small bat-like object. That's the Gotha.

Oh, THAT little thing. As I am familiar with the WW I Gotha's, which were fairly large, I TOTALLY missed that!

Let's not forget that Century Wings also show 1/144 on their site as possibilities.

Re: Is HM Considering A New 1:144th Scale Line?

I realize I am in the minority but I am not interested in anything smaller than 1/72 and even 1/72 is less desirable to me moving forward. I've culled my collection a bit - and will post a few more offerings soon - as I prefer 1/48 and above in all of my models. I have yet to see a 1/144 model I had to have but I can definitely see the appeal of the 1/144 regarding the bigger models. For me, I'd rather have 1 great 1/48 Bf-109 or Spitfire than 5 of each in 1/72. Just my humble opinion.

It would nice to see if their might be a closer shot of the little Horten brothers flying wing. Go 229 or Ho 299 would make for an interesting looking model.

Okay you Hawkeyes, can you identify the plane behind the Texan?

Re: Is HM Considering A New 1:144th Scale Line?

The one in question looks to be a Beaufighter. I am not sure if it is a reflection, but it almost looks like there are two of the Gotha Go 229 in the picture.

It sure looks like the Beaufighter in the first picture I posted on this thread. I see invasion stripes, but that glare on top of the plane---or perhaps behind it---is odd looking. And the plane has changed its position slightly on top of that plastic box it rests on. Hmmm? Could it be something else? Perhaps when Jim gets back from his secret mission to China, we can send him to Germany to investigate.
