HM 1/32 SBD almost here??

I noticed over on the UK Diecast Forum, some fellow from Florida is reporting that the first run of the 1/32 SBD's will be at his dealers in one week's time--- Can this be so? Does anyone know any more about this? As you can see, this is one I have been waiting anxiously for!

Re: HM 1/32 SBD almost here??

Does anyone know when the first HM 1/32 SBD Dauntless is due at the dealers? I am certainly hoping it is soon, but have not heard any recent news,

Re: HM 1/32 SBD almost here??

Hawk posted on his site that the eta for the new 1:32 Dauntless is February 26 (arrival at HA in Minneapolis) with an additional 5-6 days for shipping to retailers. Add at least another 5-6 days for good measure and you are probably in the ballpark. So what would this be... about March 10?

I find it curious that pictures of the retail model have not yet found their way onto the great www. At least I haven't seen any.

I spoke to my retailer on the phone on Monday, and if I remember right he indicated that the HM 1/32nd Dauntless should be coming in his March shipment.

You know, once this thing lands we'll all be crying broke so don't rush it. It'll be here in good time. (Yes, I have them on pre-order and yes, I'll get all of them!)

Did these really "sold out" or it's just being hyped up like the Spitfires before it??? At any rate, I placed my preorder in and I'll be getting the second one with the "Pre-War" colours.

I saw a display example of HA0200 up close at the US distributor today, this sucker is large and in charge! Really very impressive IMHO, more so than I thought it would be.

Sounds like they are already at the Distributor-- ahead of Hawk's posted schedule. Should be soon!

The US distributor tends to get a display example of new releases ahead of the actual shipment, I would imagine that Hawk's info is still your best reference for the actual arrival date.
