Man, what is it with HM and those tiny pilots... Model looks great, though I think I will display mine parked with the pilots "in the bar"

Judging from their size, they're probably too young to get in a bar.

Actually, this SBD looks great-- I can't wait to get mine. I am hoping Aim-Higher Jets is receiving their shipment as well. As for the size of the pilots, it doesn't bother me as I probably won't put them in the airplane anyway.

Maybe the 1:32 Corsair pilots from 21st toys will fit in the cockpit ok...

Are you gonna test that theory?

I don't have a 1/32 Corsair pilot handy, but here's a BBI 1/32 Phantom pilot vs HM 1/32 Dauntless pilot. Add a helmet and g-suit and the HM pilot doesn't seem that far off.

Maybe the crew figures sit too low in their seats? Is that a parachute pack I see on the HM pilot?

Yes, the Dauntless crew has fanny packs. And now that I think about it, the chute pack makes the HM pilot look taller (in his seated position next to the Phantom pilot) than he would otherwise.

Well maybe he needs a couple of Chicago area phone books too... Definitely is a lot lower down than he should be based upon this photo

You can never go wrong with these Dauntless crews at your disposal!

Sorry for the off-topic...sometimes I just can't help myself!
