I like it but I always prefer combat aircraft. How 'bout a nice F-80 instead?!

Re: Hobby Master Do This Plane!!!

Some great schemes there, but given the choice I'd go for the bare metal one with dayglow orange trim.

A sad memory, but I vividly recall one crashing near my house in the 80's, missing someone's home by only 200 yards. The T-bird was on a post maintenance flight and not only was there a problem with the aircraft, the ejection seat wasn't armed either.
I knew someone on the crash review board who listened to the black box audio recording - said it was the most horrible thing he ever had to hear.

no4mkit...Just curious, did the crashed T-33 jet flew from Castle AF base?

Agreed, and in 1/48 scale please! (But I'll take a T-33 as a back-up).

Thumbs up Re: Hobby Master Do This Plane!!!

Lets all go for BOTH F-80 and T-33. While we're at it the F-5 and F-5B/T-38 Lots of GREAT markings. I Prefer 1/72 though for space requirements. Gotta admit those two Buffaloes I saw at Burbanks House of hobbies got me thinkin, LM

I'll sign up for a CT-133 (T-33) the first 6 released versions can be Canadian.

Re: Hobby Master Do This Plane!!!

I'd much rather they started with the F-80 in 1:72nd scale---including some Korean War examples with rockets. Then, they can work their way into the trainer category without making a whole new mold.

Re: Hobby Master Do This Plane!!!

I've been lobbying for a T-33 since I joined this forum! I'd like to see an F-80 also, but a T-33 first. Here's just some examples that I would like to see in diecast-

The first two photos are from the Canada DND website, the last two are from Wings Palette.
