Hi kwiky, welcome to the forum!
Sounds like a good idea seeking some further guidance prior to attempting a fix. I will follow your advice!

Re: A-4 problem

thanks for the welcome,

while we're waiting on the advice i thought i'd cheer myself up by ordering a couple of new models so ive got a century wings vf-154 black nights shizuoka special and a dragon 336th tfs 4th TWF rocketeers strike eagle on there way to me, im feeling better already lol

on a serious note, do hobby master usually have these sorts of problems? i read good reviews on their products before i bought my a-4 but this is the first model of ive owned thats made by them and i dont want to be put off by what turns out to be a rare problem

With the exception of these two models, I've had a great experience with HMs. IIRC, there were some problems with the early A-10 releases, but those have been corrected. I've got various F-104s, MiG-21s, A-10s, TBMs, and single examples of the T-6, Ju-87 and SBD; and none of them have had any problems. What's funny is that the F-104 should be the one with a horizontal stab problem (I used to have a heck of a time keeping those aligned when I was building kits back in the day), but I've never seen one from HM with a crooked stab.
I really like what they've made so far and I am looking forward to future releases. And, I plan on getting some more A-4s in the future. What I may do with the A-4s, though, is go to a dealer and check 'em out in person, instead of buying 'em online, where I make the vast majority of my purchases.

Re: A-4 problem

Kwiky, I think you'll like HM. I recommend them, IMO they're the top company out there right now. And, they're excellent when it comes to listening to the suggestions of the members on this forum. hawkonevoodoo does a heck of a job passing along our comments/suggestions/requests to HM, and keeping us informed of all the happenings there. You'll enjoy getting to know him, and going to his website (Hobby Master Collector Home Page) to get the latest updates!
