...the Australian vertical stabilizer looks crooked too which makes its h.stab look aligned with it in the 1st photo

Good catch, lanslide. Looking at the Aussie one closer, the v stab is just oh-so-slightly off true vertical...but I don't think it's enough to fully account for the down angle on the h stab...

Rush, is the entire tail assembly plastic or metal?

I can't really tell, but I think both are plastic...

I'm wondering if I ought to try to fix them, or go out and buy new ones and hold on to these existing models for experiments down the road?
