You have added a much needed touch of realism to the model.

Transformed I would say.

A very nice job Epapazian, I am sure its more difficult than you make it out to be.
Only to the master is the task easy as my old instructor used to say.

As I mentioned in a previous post, the picture isn't terribly good, however my goal wasn't to completely eradicate the panel lines. Rather, I intended to make them about 50% less prominent and get rid of the black. The model, as it now looks, has the panel lines considerably less visible and, more important, their color is a somewhat darker tan --- or gray for the bottom---than HM used in its original paint job, which makes them look more realistic. It's hard to see in the picture, but I also added staining in many places which is even more difficult to capture using my camera and limited photographic skills.

OK I hear ya. It looks great, just wasn't sure where you were going with it. Again, it looks better than anything I could pull off.

You did a great job! It looks nice...makes me want to go buy some paints and get out the brushes...
