A letter to Hobby Master

HM is definetly on a roll! But please don't blow it like Armour did. You have given us so many new models lately that I can hardly keep up (just like Armour did). So far...so good but...Armour made some really bad models in their haste. I just don't want to see that happen to you, HM! As a result of Armour's exponential growth, we may never see a decent P-51D Mustang, F4U Corsair, or P-40E Warhawk. This new Phantom is VERY important to us. Take your time with it since this may be our last chance to see it done well. Please consult with David Hingtgen (our esteemed colleague) often on this project. The Phantom is a sure bet for you if it is done right! Look at CW's Tomcat as an example.

I wouldn't mind a good birdcage Corsair from HM. Or even the early small mouthed P-40s. Yes take your time and nail all future releases. But do be faster than GA with the Skyraider.

Post Re: A letter to Hobby Master

Please let us have a late model Bf109 & Fw190A in 1:48 scale ....other manufacturers efforts are either way overpriced (in the UK at least) or rather ho hum in their execution, how about "doing an IXO" & give us something out of the mainstream? my choice would be the He219

HM is fast becoming THE go to diecast company for their winning combination of accuracy, quality, and variety. Thanks HM!

Yes, it would seem that Hobby Master and Century Wings are two manufacturers that listen to their consumers and try to provide what they ask for. They are also the two best quality manufacturers who are active at present--- and we are all better off for it.

Re: A letter to Hobby Master

We are a funny lot, I have just been reading posts giving HM a real hard time about Me110 and yet we all support HMs efforts.

Its why I like this place, there is a total lack of b.ll...t and we tell it like it is.

Long may we prosper.

Re: A letter to Hobby Master

I think we are all really thankful that we have HM but we have to give constructive criticism too. That is part of the reason this forum exists - right? Thank God HM listens for the most part! That may be due to Hawk's efforts. Thanks Hawk1.

And we need to continue the bitters and sweets. HM's Hellcat will NEVER be beat; however, their MiG-21 kind of left me wanting more, and I'm afraid the 110 will also. However, personally and selfishly, I want to see some Soviet and Japanese WWII, and I think HM is in the best position to produce a high number of quality molds in both areas, so I hope they will go for it (1/72 please!).
