I do not do 1/48 but my favorite HM 2007 model is the Brewster Buffalo.
It was superb in every way (for a plane that looks like a locust) it was packed with surprises.

1/48 JJ Spit for me, followed closely by the Buffalo, followed closely by the Avenger, followed closely by the A-10 & Hellcat

Heck - I love 'em all!!!

Re: What is your fav HM for the year then??

I might be in the minority, but my favorite so far has been the Texan. Which is really surprising since the Texan wouldn't have even made my wish list this time last year. (Or whenever a year before they came out was?)

The F-104 has to be a close second, which again, is NOT a plane I would have gushed over beforehand. I guess that just goes to show how wonderfully surprising Hobby Master can be?

Anything for a weird life.

Re: What is your fav HM for the year then??

Only purchased a few HM's RCAF and Dutch F 104's, RCAF Harvards, Dutch Buffalo and JJ Spit. It would be a toss up between The Dutch F104 and the Buffalo. The Dutch 104 IMHO is the nicest F 104 HM has produced to date, the camo finish looks great. The Buf is my first 1/48 and I am impressed.
