Just got it! Very nice little model.

The Panel lines are not as deep and heavy as it seems in the picture and this is really a nice little model. You have to see it in person. I will get more of these for sure and I hate, I repeat hate dark panel lines that are overdone! Trust me on this one!

Thanks for posting the pics Parsig. I was looking to get this one too. I also don't like the dark panel lines, glad it looks OK. Do you think the exhaust stacks are a bit oversized though?

Thanks for posting Parsig. I have this on pre-order with 'Devastating Devil'. The one I'm really looking forward to is the RAF 601 Squadron bird.

Maybe a little but on the shelf they look great and the color and texture of the whole model is spot on. If the Plagis Spitfire is a 10 this is an 8.5 in my view.
Blown up to 4 times its real size it leaves a bit to be desired but, again, in person it is awesome!

Where are the nose guns?

just the recesses are there lanslide, no gun barrels. A wee bit dissappointing but still very happy with mine overall.

Any chance that this Russian version only had the 4 wing guns and the nose cannon? Seems as thorough as HM has tried to be they would not mess that one up. Hawkone, can you clear that up?

Overall not a bad looking model. Personally do not think panel lines are excessively overdone and the only major draw back i can see is the previously mentioned nose gun issue. Look forward to picking up the RAF variant.
