Hmm... maybe hobby master listened and fixed later releases in the line? Or maybe ya just got lucky! Hope I get lucky.

Not so lucky with the gun barrel and bulkhead though. Ya just can't win - I hold my breath every time a new model arrives!

Tell me about it... but 100% of my 25+ diecast purchases are via internet/mail. No shops around carry them, or the selection is limited/price too high.

My gun barrels are perfect, as the detail under the canopy.

The Flying Mule just put up pics of this model. I must say it looks really good. I'm happy I made the purchase even if their are flaws. I don't see that the wingtips droop at all in the photos though. Of course, who knows what will get shipped to you. *keeps fingers crossed*

Again thanks for the review with pics, Ara. I'm waiting for the 3rd issue coz' I'v a weakness for birds decorated with 'invasion stripes'!

I would treat this model like I've treated the Buffalo: I'll buy many so long as they make them available and interesting.

My next Spit will be a bubble canopy w/ full wings, hopefully silver post war (any nationality...) Hopefully Hobby Master will milk these molds. Still can't get over the fuselage/wing joint, it's invisible! This attribute really makes the model seem "Whole" and complete; a true miniature of the real bird.

I'm hoping HM will spit out (no pun intended) a Seafire version!
