Re: Which 1/32 SBD is coming out first?

Can we not use the phrase "coming out"? Its so...... How about "which will be released first"?

Are you suggesting that "coming out" implies something about someone's sexual orientation?.... not that there is anything wrong with that! (to paraphrase Seinfeld).
Well, I will try to refrain from using that phrase in the future...

Okay this is for you, slide.....SBD stands for "silent but deadly" and in polite circles is used to describe a foul smelling wind which emanates noiselessly from the rectal cavity....occasionally referred to in some geographical area as a 'tank nut'.

You may be tested on this material at a later date.

Hey, I will take a SBD over a SHART any time. Unless it happens to someone else, then I will just laugh my ass off.

You guys are tooooo funny!!! By the way, in case there is someone here who doesn't know what SBD really stands for, SBD = Scout Bomber Douglas. I'm not sure what a SHART is but I am sure that I don't want to know!

Similarly, you do know that F6F = 6th Fighter (F) manufactured for the Navy by Grumman (F) don't you? SBD = 1st (no number) Scout - i.e. reconaissance (S) Bomber (B) built by Douglas (D).

No I don't get into nomenclature and part numbers like some do. But it makes sense I guess.
