| Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4 Listen boys, you are putting the cart before the horse with all this talk about which nose it should have. We first need to know if its gonna have an ENGINE! Isn't the engine more important than the nose???? So... you Phantom experts out there: how deep are the turbines buried in the fuselage, and are they visible from the intakes? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4
Great pictures, fly! Thanks. It has been awhile since I have seen a Phantom with intakes uncovered, but I recall seeing deep dark holes. This is ok with me. What is not ok is a model with intakes that are recessed an inch or so and then obviously blanked out with... what would you call it... a wall? What's up with that, and why is that acceptable with collectors??? To me, this is analagous to leaving a prop off a prop driven model. I would rather have a model with intake covers so you can't see inside the obviously ridiculous looking thing.

Yeah I saw the smily face. I just like saying how crap Corgi is and, hopefully with the support of others, could tell them how to do their job.
