Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

Would it be hard to have both F-4D and F-4E? or would they require different moulds?

Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

This is great, great news!! I can't wait for the F-4D, the P-400 and the VA-164 A-4 (hopefully with a load of Mk. 82's). I wanted a Phantom, a US Airacobra and a USN Vietnam-era scooter. I feel like we asked for these things and HM delivered!

As to the question as to whether they can still do an F-4E from the F-4D molds-- I suppose it depends on how the molds are done. It will definitely need some new mold work. However, they have done this in plastic so I see no reason it cannot be done in diecast. I think it might be reasonable to see some USN F-4B's and F-4J's as well.

...and the Sundowner is the 1st ever Corgi Phantom release back in '99. Boy was I excited to get the Corgis. But now HMs are even more exciting!

Seems to be an exciting time for Phantom fans. You have the existing Corgi mould out there, now there will be a Hobby Master version and unless it just turns into vaporware there is the upcoming Gemini Aces version. Add to that the recently released 1/32 F-4 and there are a ton of Phantoms on the market or coming very shortly.

Okee dokee... I gotta ask (and I will probably get laughed out of the forum, but here goes):

You Phantom experts out there: can you see the turbines in the intakes? If the answer is yes, will HM model them (I think I know the answer to this one)?

Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

GUYS dump those Corgi's I told you all a while back the prices will plummet. Turn those Corgi bucks into multiple models while you can before the world catches on. soon we will be flooded with Phantoms. I got good money for a Woodbridge MIB the other night sold Annette and Black Bunny and Sundowners LOng ago made good cash. Nothing out will compare to Hm's F-4. There will be lots of camo F-4's to choose from.

Just my 2 cents Corgi's F-4 are very so so.

Great starter models for your pre-teen collectors.

Don't be sentimental DUMP THEM SOON!

Corgi will probably always be a more collectible product but Hm is doing limiteds and catching up fast. It might not take too much for them to be the new Corgi.
