Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

From a new posting on Hawkonevoodoo's site-- HA1903 will be a Thunderbirds F-4E.

I am a little surprised/disappointed at this selection for the 1st F-4E. The scheme had to be done at some point, but I'm not sure it will be a big seller (maybe why it went first).

I realize we will be seeing many F-4E/F/G's in the future so I won't dispair too much about it - plenty of front-line, operational schemes to come!

T-birds? That's about the only E model I'd buy. (I like gunless Phantoms)

The Thunderbird scheme doesn't do it for me. Operational Fighters please. IAF for sure.

I'll take a T-bird to go with my Blue Angel. I'll also take a SEA F-4E.

OK, whatever.
I will not be buying the Thunderbirds F-4E. I have no space for it.
HM, please bring the Israeli Kurnass soon, and do not forget the Iranian F-4E !!

Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

Looking forward to the Thunderbird scheme. Just curious, so they flew 1-7 back then for airshows? Few photos I searched for show 7 of them in the air. Wondering if that was just a photo op or actual show. Thanks!

Re: Check Hawk One's site for F - 4

A T-Birds F-4E? The entire production management at HM must have been on dope when they decided to do this one...

The F-4, one of the planes the least capable of performing formation aerobatics... the only thing that would have been interesting was the sound, but I just can hear no sound from a diecast plane.

But at least, itīs good to know that there will be a mold for "E"-based spooks, so my hope for a German "F" is not lost yet.

I'll still get the T-Birds F-4E, but everyone knows what "colours" I'd much rather prefer!

The T-Birds F-4E is not for me either. I can just imagine your reaction if they do a German F-4E with US markings (as based in the US for training) instead of an F-4F.
