Is there a Hobby Master 1/72 F-4E in our future?

There is a rumor over on the Century Wings section that Hobby Master may be coming out with a 1/72 USAF F-4E Phantom-- Does anyone have any information on this one way or another? Hopefully, it will show up on the list that Hawk is planning to post.

It's no rumor! IIRC, there was a lists of future HM molds announced last year and the F-4 Phantom was in that list. If you look further back in the HM threads, you're bound to find several references to it as well.

HM, please make this Phantom

Hobby Master doing an F-4E Phantom-- that is great news! I hope they come out with one or more in Vietnam SEA camouflage. Let's hope it shows up on Hawk's list of new HM releases when he posts it.

Re: Is there a Hobbymaster 1/72 F-4E in our future?

yes, I would love to see a HM F-4E.
I am not that interestred in a Vietnam War USAF one, but in samples of the middle-east wars ( Iran and Israel ).

I got a bit scared when the model was announced by Hawkonevodoo and then it dissapeared. I hope this does not mean it was cancelled...
Hawk, can you confirm ?

I still don't have a list but the releases for March should be out any day and it maybe be there but no guarantees.

By Hawk saying that it might be in the March list of releases tells me that there is a HM F-4E on the way for sure! If it this was a bogus rumor and it wasn't coming at all, it seems Hawk would have said so instead of saying it might show up in March-- Good news!

What version of the F-4 did the Thunderbirds Fly?
