Third Bf 110G-4 for 2008

Just brought up the Hobby Master Collector site and found that they have a third Bf 110G-4 indicated for 2008 release. Markings are for a BF 110G-4, ""G9+EF"", Major Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer, IV./NJG 1, St Trond. Looks like we might get two fairly nice looking Bf 110 Nachtjäger for 2008.

Should have titled second Bf 110G-4 along with the Bf 110G-2/R3 for a total of 3 Bf 110s for 2008.

Re: Third Bf 110G-4 for 2008

Looks like a good choice --- I have the first release (non-NF version) and it's a nice model.

This stat from the pilot bio from hawk's site is amazing:

164 missions and 121 victories making him the top scoring Nachtjager pilot

Re: Third Bf 110G-4 for 2008

After getting release 1.0, think I'll wait for some early-war types, say around 1939 through 1941. So far, that seems to be the time-frame of the Corgi releases, while HM looks to be releasing later-war models. This may have been covered elsewhere, but I wonder if Corgi and HM are collaborating on the mold...Corgi releasing early-version models of the mold, HM later versions. Just a thought. (The pun would be: "Economies of scale.") Anyway, something like this:

There is no collaborating involved.

There is no collaborating involved.

Then I think that is going to make 2008 very exciting, Bf 110-wise...
