Is it a Russian or an Indian MiG-21 scheme?

Hey Hawk, I see the title below is a new Russian scheme for the MiG-21 "SMT", but when I click on that link it shows an Indian AF scheme? I must admit I got excited that a new Soviet scheme is in the works, and I would also buy an IAF livery as well. Is this just a typo?

So FLYXWIRE. Are you thinking what I'm thinking an Indian (not Lakota) Mig 21 to go with the Corgi Pakistani F-104. That'd be cool HUH? Maybe even a Mirage too Boot someday.

I hope I did not offend you my friend? Yes, in keeping with my dogfighting scenario collections, I would get the Hindustan Aerospace MiG-21 to go up against the Pakistani F-104 for sure!

Re: Is it a Russian or an Indian MiG-21 scheme?

Remember, back in September it was posted on H1V's website that HM will NOT be making the IAF MiG-21 and the PAF F-104. Maybe those plans have changed?

I remember the Pakistani F-104 but not the Mig21. I think HM changed its plans on the 104 because Corgi and Witty had the same planes coming out.

HI Rush104, I found the post where the Indian Mig 21 was cancelled. To bad.. I do like the new Mig 21 coming and will get it. Do ya suppose this is the next to last livery? Seeing how they said they are only doing two more.

Hi Lakota Mech!
I don't know about the MiG-21 liveries; I haven't heard anything about the ones planned for next year. As far as the two F-104 liveries (and this is just speculation on my part), I think one of them is going to be a NASA scheme. IIRC, wasn't a NASA bird planned, then postponed (not cancelled)? That would be a logical choice for a release for next year.

Re: Is it a Russian or an Indian MiG-21 scheme?

Re-reading the news on H1V's site, it looks like there will only be two schemes each for the MiG-21 and the F-104. I hope this means that the molds are being given a rest, and not phased out entirely after 2008.
