Re: CF-104 Tiger Meet

As much as I have stared at mine I cannot find any problem with wings.

Yes, but which anhedral angle is correct? The steep angle or the shallow one? In any case, I tried a small amount of pressure and nothing budged. I think that I will stop trying - I doubt HM will replace my plane when I snap the wings off trying correct the flaw...

You know, I love my HM models but I have to say that I am dissapointed with the issues that a lot of the models seem to have (stands, wing/tail angles, missing gear doors). In this case, a couple of wooden blocks cut at the proper angles would have done the trick for setting the wings (and cost less than a buck a set). Minor isues will not stop me from buying most of the time, it just detracts from an otherwise great product...

I've just been looking through Hawk's website. I finally see what you mean on the pix of the last Italian 104.

Happily, my Tiger Meet CF 104 does not have this flaw.

As far as I know the anhedral should be 10 degrees so I would say the shallow angle is correct. This seems to be a hit or miss thing, some planes of the same release have the mismatch and some don't. I think it is all happens when the wings are inserted in the fuselage and glued, if they aren't held at the correct angle and since the glue is a commercial super glue they bond very quickly and the wing is fixed in the wrong angle. I have pointed this out to Hobby Master and they are looking into why.

Re: CF-104 Tiger Meet

I did not read the whole thread...but how does HM CF-104 compares with the Witty's?
I did not get the Witty's version as I heard that HM's is going to be a lot better.
Anybody wants to shed some light on the comparison features? Thanks.
