Might this be the Spit everyone's talkin' about?







The Johnnie Johnson pilot figure looks a bit peaked but otherwise a very cool model. Main landing gear is retractable while the tail gear has swappable gear-up/gear-down inserts.

Yup... HM's US distributor is sold out. Once retailers run out of these- they're gone.

Maybe so, but there will be more livieries coming... Does look nice, but I am going to hold out for the second release..

Almost December and no sight of the Spit yet - What's up with that!!!!


Hi guys, I have just been informed that the US allocation for the Johnie Johnson Spit #HA7101 is completely "SOLD OUT".

Once they are gone from the dealers shelves their gone for good.

Rushing into a purchase decision based on 'hype' that they're all sold out by the distributor and you may 'miss out' is the height of folly - be patient and you're likely to be well rewarded i.e. wait until you you see the 'whites of their eyes' before pulling the purchasing trigger ...

Cardo, do you mean these are likely to go down in price if we wait? Personally, I'm not so sure... and I'm not taking a chance.
