Re: Where's the Spit!!!!

Didn't your model come with Johnnie? It should have had a figure and as far as I know all the new 1/48 will have figures.

I think he meand ground figures. I second that motion, by the way. I hope HM could even look into separately selling sets of ground crew in 1/48. That would be most excellent.

Just an idea. After all, they do sell some of their tanks with ground figures.

Re: Where's the Spit!!!!

I have both Spitfires on pre-order. I also second that after the F9F a P-39 in 1/48 would be awsome.

There's that 1/48 P-39 again! We need to keep up the pressure.

Yes hawk Johnnie is present I was thinking along the lines of ground crew as in the Corgi Flight Line series the market seems to be crying out for ready made & painted crew & assorted support vehicles for both 1:72 & 1:48 scales.

It has been suggested many times but at this point they are trying to develop good pilots. I'm hoping the next step will be ground crew and support vehicles once they have the pilots and soldiers the way they want them. I will make sure Hobby Master sees this comment/suggestion. Thanks for the input.

Re: Where's the Spit!!!!

Will the Buffalos start coming with a pilot?

As far as I know Hobby Master is working to develp pilots for all their aircaft but when pilots will show up in a particular type of plane I don't know. I will try to get some sort of an indication from the company. Remind me again in 3 or 4 days so I know where to post the answer when I get it.

I can tell you now it isn't going to happen in the near future.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Don't give up yet...Hawk said not in the near future. I think that just means that it's not on the 2008 roster. I think we'll see it for 2009 if the 1/72 scale versions sell well.

Re: Where's the Spit!!!!

I picked my "JEJ" (#0077 of 1800) up today and I have to say it is REALLY nice, especially for the price.. Mine did have a few issues (broke in shipping from HM) but it was the last one that Onmark had and it isn't anything that can't be repaired..
If anyone is on the fence about this I wouldn't wait too long as OMI, Aikens, Flyingmule are already SOLD OUT and Petes is in short supply..
