Hm F-4E

(primarily addressed to hawk): As far as I remember, HM have promised at the beginning of this year to do an F-4E late 2007 or early 2008. Does anybody know how far this plan - unless given up - has proceeded in the meantime? I am asking because afaik there were only few differences in the outer appearance between the F-4E and the GERMAN F-4F - the latter one of course ist the real one I am still hoping for.

In other words: just do an "E" and next give me an "F", please...

Re: Hm F-4e

As for me, I would love to see an F-4E in USAF Vietnam colors. From the same mold, they could sell a German F-4F, a Japanese, an Israeli, and a Greek Phantom. Any word on when the HM Phantom might appear?

Re: Hm F-4e

I too would love to know what's going on with HM F-4s? I hope we will see alot of the schemes and liveries of the more prominent users of the spook, and an Israeli Airforce F-4E "Kurnass" is a requisite requirement...period!

They are coming, just backed up a bit I think, but coming. As soon as I have any definite information as to exactly which version and when I will post it on my news page.

Re: Hm F-4e

IF...

... Hobbymaster should do a GERMAN F-4F, I hope it will wear the latest light grey scheme and NOT the so-called "Norm 72" dark-grey / green scheme. I fear the latter one would just be screwed up just as HM dit with the German F-104...

Thinking about a special/jubilee paint scheme? Then please do the 1996 Hopsten scheme (38+60, the one with the white horse on both sides of the fuselage)...

Cool Re: Hm F-4e

I would without doubt buy an Israeli F4E. Of course I would also need a Vietnam era one and German F4F. Maybe an F4G is also on the cards.

Iranian.

Having recently read (an eye opener for me, I must say) about air operations during the war between Iran and Irak, triggered my interest in these Air Forces...

I know I used to be sceptical about such subjects, but now I must admit I'd be quite tempted to add an Iranian Tomcat, Phantom and Tiger II if available, to my collection...

Any other consideration apart, their look is second to none.
