Greek Mirage 2000

Saw in a Air Forces monthly magazine at Barnes & Nobles. That the Greek Hellenic Air Force is operating Mirage 2000's same color as the Stork only with the blue and white Greek roundels. They also had an article on the retirement of the Greek A-7's
I know Century Wings has an A-7 in the offing,But did't I see on Hawkonevoodoo's site that Hobby Master was coming out with a A-7 in 2008 a long time ago? Century hasn't produced anything but US Naval colors. At least Hobby Master does different countries.

Re: Greek Mirage 2000

Yes, I'd also be very interested in Greek versions of these fighters, and of the F-16 (and the F-4, why not). I hope it happens.

In fact, I was just in Greece two weeks ago (to run the Athens marathon and visit my mother) and saw a Mirage F-1, but it was on a pedestal in Athens. Those have all been retired from the Hellenic Air Force, as far as I know (but it's a nice looking jet).

Well...Apart from Navy, only Iran has F-14A's. Though I don't know how popular they are in Japan. And with their new Intruders, its only Navy and USMC thats operating them. So you can't blame them for not doing anything non US Naval

Yes! But Century Wings is coming out with a A-7. Only time will tell if they do an Air Force A-7 or some of the few countrys that have flown them. Guess I'll have to wait to Blame em based on what they do with the A-7.

what do you mean time will tell? Its been told. There are a few moulds of the A-7 already including airforce versions. The Flying Mule pre-pro is of the Air Force version

Is there an Air Force A-7 For sale yet? Just because it is a pre pro doesn't mean it's a realaity yet. When the Air Force A-7 shows up on the Fying Mule in Air Force Colors then it's real.and proof that Century Wings is expanding from naval colors.

Lets put it this way, a company wouldn't make a mould only not to sell it. that would be a big waste. Ofcourse, the Air Force schemes won't come out first, but considering they've got the mould for it, its just waiting in the line.

Re: Greek Mirage 2000

I'm all for Century Wings and any A-7 Naval or USAF/ANG or otherwise. This was supposed to be about a Greek Mirage that Hobby Master could consider. I was simply stating that I'd like HM to do an A-7 also . At one time they listed it in future releases and then it disapeared Much like the A-1.....Remember the A-1? Just because one company builds one aircraft dosn't mean another can't. Look at all the Really George F-104's four at last count in three different scales all of varying quality. to which I 'll take the HM Really George over the Witty any day it is all about choice.and right now Hobby Master offers more aircraft of different country's. I feel that it would be much more likly that they would do a Greek,Thai or one from Portugal A-7.

Cool shot of the 2000, admin! I would like to see HM do a two-seater variant of this a/c for sure.
