1/200 B-52, Tornado and MiG-29!

I am really looking forward to these announced releases, although I know it is going to be a long wait.
The Tornado and the MiG-29 are listed under "September 2007" though...
The B-52, well, "first quarter of 2008"!

Who else is into this small scale?

The Herpa jets are way overpriced ( no doubt those are very detailed and all ) for my taste, so when the the HM comes out I'll be sure to get them for my collection.

I agree: Herpa's 1/200 fighters are way too overpriced. I understand there will be another player in the 1/200 market soon, besides HobbyMaster, Herpa and World Aircraft Collection/Gulliver (so far this one is only available in Japan). Looking forward to what HM has on offer.

Wink Re: 1/200 B-52, Tornado and MiG-29!

I am afraid I have bit the bullet for 1/200 some times ago...

I have been collecting WAC fighters, Hogan metal airliners and JASDF/JMSDF P2J and YS11, plus some Phoenix and Herpa metal airliners.

IMHO WAC fighters look slightly better than Herpa's...

Eagerly waiting for HM 1/200 range to see... (would prefer ops finishes though...)

I'll pass this on about the ops finish. I totally agree with you, I too prefer the majority of any scale planes to be ops.

Re: 1/200 B-52, Tornado and MiG-29!

Thanks hawk.

Particularly curious about the B52... Affordable heavies are so scarce !

In the future, I would like to add the followings to my collection : TU 95/142, B47, B58, B36 and Breguet 1150 Atlantic.
