Now I don't know what's right and what's wrong, but isn't it supposed to be JE-J rather than JEJ? You know, JE on one side of the roundel and a J on the other.\

I have seen it both ways, admin. I can't honestly say I've seen an actual wartime photo of either though, especially on the mk.XIV. Any help from the peanut gallery?

Found a site that depicts the Group Captain Johnsons Spitfire Mk.X1Ve with the JEJ positioned just as Hobby Master depicts it on their model.
It is illustration 13 on this site.

The UK guys have been pouring over this model for months now.. If there was something wrong with the "JEJ" we would've heard about it, believe me.....

Found another company that produces Grp Capt 'Johnnie' Johnson Spitfire Mk XIVE MV268 JEJ. The company is pewteraircraft.com and they make a 1/72nd scale model that runs at a wopping £86.00 plus shipping (Ouch). Their model also depicts markings as Hobby Master model is shown.
