What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

I know only about 3/4 of what was to be released in 2007 is going
make it .
Some of the 2007 releases i'm sure will come out in 2008...
But for what is not on their list as of yet...What would you like to see them make
In 1/72 and 1/48 line ?
For me i would really like to see them make a nice looking F4U Corsair and Fw190A
In the 1:48 line..
In the 1:72nd line i'm just waiting for the P-61 Blackwidow.......

Yes...Yes...Yes!!!

Also, I'd love a V-1 'Doodlebug' in 1/48th diecast so that the Spifire Mk.XIV will have something to shoot down!

Tempest Mk V in 1/72 without question. Beaufighter, Fw 190 D9 (Ta 152 is a great idea too), Yak 3 and IL2 to name a few.

Wink Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

So far, the policy of HM in 1/48 WWII seems to be :

1. Offer a product that fits in the gaps left by the product ranges of other brands. Do not overlap.
2. Keep the overall model size relatively small, so choose planes that in real life were not massive.
3. Not be afraid of choosing a known but relatively rare aircraft like the Buffalo or the bubble-canopy Spitfire.

Given the above, what I would realistically hope to see from HM would be something along the lines of

- Hawker Typhoon or Tempest
- Me-163 Komet

The idea of a V-1 put forward by flyXwire is also appealing. Nice lateral thinking.
If HB then decided to go a bit bigger, I would propose something new to 1/48 to make it a real addition to our collections but still mainstream enough to sell well and hence make it a realistic proposition to the manufacturers. For example :

- Grumman Avenger ( they already do it nicely in 1/72 )
- Douglas Devastator ( like the buffalo, it served only briefly at the start of the pacific campaign, but it is a very beautiful aircraft with a lot of potential for a diecast model, specially )
- Curtiss Helldiver

And then, the ULTIMATE diecast model scale 1/48 of a monoplane sigle-engine propeller combat aircraft ( albeit not WWII ) that someone MUST one day produce : the Douglas A-1 Skyrider. Right ?

Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

In 1/48th I would like to see a P-61, A-20, Helldiver, Avenger and Kingfisher.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
