Here's a cool screen capture that I just ran across on the IL2 forum.

Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

Admin,
Hey there.

I know it's been said before, but I'll gladly say it again. The Century series is vastly under represented in diecast. The Super Saber and Thunderchief both offer us a ton of schemes that would fly off shelves. (Okay, they would fly off store shelves and onto my shelf at least.)

Anything for a weird life.

Absolutely! And let's not forget the absolutely beautiful F-106 (with many colorful schemes to boot). The F-102 ain't quite as pretty, but I'd buy it also. Granted, neither of these planes have much of a combat history (in fact, none in the case of the F-106), which may be a downside to some collectors.

Now, of course, I want all these babies in 1/48 (but will satisfy myself with 1/72 if need be).

I'd be willing to buy a G.W. Bush F-102 (or was it a F-106?) in a 1/72 scale.

He flew the F-102 in the Air National Guard. Not sure if he had any distinctive markings on any of the ones he flew, though.

His aircraft didn't have any distinctive markings other than Bu numbers, however the Texas Air National Guard scheme is pretty cool. I have a pic here somewhere, I'll post when I find it.

Thanks for the answer, FVD. For me as a collector, I actually prefer dull, indistinct liveries. That's why I think I would like a diecast of his particular aircraft.
