Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

Question that perhaps should be its own topic. Do 1/72 and 1/48 sales trade off? Meaning if one company does a 1/72 plane and someone else does 1/48 at about the same time are they splitting the total market for that aircraft? Quality being roughly equal of course.

Thought about this because someone asked for a 1/48 Skyraider and Gemini is known to have a 1/72 version coming.

Thumbs up Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

In 1/48th I would like to see a P-61, A-20, Helldiver, Avenger and Kingfisher.

Yep, Kingfisher would be very nice too.

Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

With all of the scales they are doing in planes and tanks, it looks like Hobby Master is looking to unseat Corgi as the leader in military diecast and preempt Dragon, which is far too U.S.- and German-oriented in its selections and too focused on mass produced 1:72 scale items with countless paint schemes. Let's all hope that HM doesn't overextend itself, like Corgi apparently did. As for planes I would like to see HM do, as I recall, they were considering the SB2C Helldiver, for this year's now-partially delayed lineup.I wouldn't mind seeing that one for 2008, as well as the MC-202, which was also mentioned for 2007but has not been heard from since. As for other choices we all know what they are- IL-2M, Val, Kate, Beaufighter, Tempest, ME-163, etc. Almost any of these would be fine with me.

Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

A 1:48 scale Mossie.....the V1 is a great idea how about an early Meteor in 1:48 too.

I love the way you think, Nimrod!
A Meteor in 1/48th would be suuuweeeeeeet to have for sure!!!

Then there's this other option....

Re: What would like to see next from Hobby Master ?

Boeing P-26 Peashooter in 1/48.

Yak-3 or 9 in 1/48.

Hawker Tempest and Typhoon in 1/48.

F-7F Tigercat in 1/72 or 1/48.

A-20 in 1/72 or 1/48.

FW-190D-9 and F-4U Corsair in 1/32 (I'd be just as happy with a P-47 in that scale, come to think of it).

I'm assuming the P-61 is already on the way some day...
