For me that is bad news. Another plane I'd buy in an instant (along with the Buffalo) if they were in 1/72.

Good news for those of you who do collect 1/48 though.

Good grief, don't they know we would knock each other down trying to get into a store to get this, and the Spit in 1/72?

Yeah, but I would knock fly and lanslide down to get these in 1:48!

I'll take any scale - I REALLY like this aircraft! This is a very good choice for HM. Watch out Elmer...I've been watching my 5 year old take karate classes!

Sorry, this one and its cousin or twin are the ugliest things the USN ever flew. Still holding out for the FJ-3/4 Fury.

Come on Shawn, it's a great looking plane steeped in history! It's the U.S.N.'s first jet fighter!

First US Navy jet fighter used in combat...

Have to agree that it is too bad it wasn't in 1/72. I just can't afford to collect more scales than I'm already involved in (1/1200, 1/400, and 1/72). Wonder why HB decided on 1/48? A 1/72 version would have been great to display next to the Hellcat. (HB is probably working from some master plan, but from down here it looks like they are taking a shotgun approach to scales.)
