The Spitfire has its place, but not on my top 5. I don't like the Panther, not on a boat, not with a goat. I don't like them here or there, I don't like them anywhere. Other early jets? Yes some I like, others

The Panther should look good in 1/48th scale and will probably pick one up. Not interested in newer type jets, but older era does spark some interest. It would be interesting if Hobby Master followed this one up with the Cougar. It would also be neat if someone put out a Delta Dart or Dagger.

You do not like them.
So you say.
Try them! Try them!
And you may.
Try them and you may, I say.

You guys are ill.

You guys are ill,
and therefore I will,
take part in this banter
and consider buying the Panther.

You buy it, I'll try it. Though it may end up in the boy's collection.

This protracted Cat in the Hat conversation,
may cause some to suffer mild consternation,
please purchase a Panther for you son's collection,
so this may in turn assuage Ianslide's concern and protestation.

How do you guys do this with out a couple of cold ones tossed down?

Sorry guys, my fault. That's what happens when I copy and paste at 2 in the morning. I'm fixing it now to read 1/48 in both places. Thanks for pointing it out.

Too bad! I would love to see the Panther released in 1/72 scale as well--- and the Buffalo, and a few more A-4's in USN schemes with bomb racks and loads. It isn't asking too much, is it?

The first F9F hasn't even been released so who knows, down the road and that's probably a long ways down the road, they just might do some of these 1/48 models in 1/72. Hobby Master only has about 5 or 6 variants of each plane made in their respective scales and there are plenty of other choices to be made before they even consider making anything in a second scale. This is just my personal opinion.
As for the A-4s, I think what you are looking for are probably in the not too distant future. Again my personal opinion.
