Re: Hobby Master Is Starting A 1:32 Line Soon

The SBD isn't really my cup of tea (but it does show HM have more b.lls then the pooch) but I will definitely buy at least two as long as they are even semi-decent. Since I only really collect 1/32 then it is in my interest that HM succeeds with this release. I tried the 21st Century stuff but it is just not the same as die cast and the FoV AC haven't been up to the job so this may be the only game in town.
What I want to know is why Corgi never gave us a 109 Trop? How hard would that have been and I'm sure that they would have sold boatloads, Black 6 anyone?

Regards
Taff

It's a tall-order and I seriously doubt we'll ever see our diecast planes made this way, jp! It looks very nice, though.

Now if their Corsair looked like this......Hummm

If GMP ever made a Corsair, it would look like this. Now I hope that the SBD looks just as good.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

If GMP ever made a Corsair...

And that's a BIG "if".....

A Corsair and a Lightning in 1/32 - I would be in heaven! I'd also pick up a Fw-190 if it had some cool detail - opening/removable panels.

If you haven't seen Hawk's site recently, check out this link:

http://www.hobbymastercollector.com/...Dauntless.html

It provides updated information regarding HM's November release of the first SBD in 1:32 scale. Features include working divebrakes, retractable gear, positionable rear gun, detailed engine, removable cowl, etc. It appears Hobby Master is naming its 1:32 range the "Premium Collection"; appears to be very promising!
