Limited Edition RCAF Harvard

Modeller's Choice in Hamilton Ontario has two Hobbymaster exclusives of only 750 pieces each.

The prices are in those cheap Canadian dollars and shipping is one price no matter how much you order.

You won't be dissapointed.

I looked at these last night but with the X-Rate higher now these end up being $40 or so. That's quite a bit for a plane that may be $15 or less by next summer.
Although it is very nice and an exclusive. Seems there might be plenty of yellow Harvards to choose from.

Good point parsig.

I want an RCAF Harvard, but would prefer the WWII BCATP scheme..... (British Commonwealth Air Training Plan)

Re: Limited Edition RCAF Harvard

You guys are sure hard to please!

There's only a couple internet shops willing to release something different maybe others won't bother after reading this..

According to their website it will feature a custom Canadianized canopy as well as the correct Canadianized exhaust system.

The price isn't that off as compared to others and certainly more affordable than the expected Eagles releases.

There's also plenty of mustangs and spitfires to choose from as well.

Re: Limited Edition RCAF Harvard

I'll be grabbing both of these for my collection as they are 2 RCAF birds. Been to the shop Modeller's Choice a few times, as it is the closest shop to me with a large amount of die cast. Still a hour drive though. Great store lots of selection from dc aircraft and armour from all the major players, lots of kits, Nascar and muscle car stuff sport collectibles and train stuff galore. One of those shops you can spend a fair bit of time in, not to mention money, that's why only visit every now and then.

Well if they're not too thin skinned they (or HM) might consider it a worthwhile suggestion.

Yes, I am a bit hard to please these days, but the Harvard does not grab me emotionally the same way many of the Spifire does.
I have a million reasons I'd rather have several Spits and, for that matter, a nice Tiger Moth in yellow. I'd like a Texan or Harvard but it will not be 35% off from Canada like in the recent past.

By the time these 2 are released in Nov. - Dec. the CAD will be on its way back down.
